Tasty Sandwiches, Salads, Soups and Desserts
The Fresh Taste Dayton has been Hungry For
Welcome to Old Glory Cafe and Sweet Shoppe! We are a Dayton-area independent restaurant serving fabulous, freshly-made sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads and yummy homemade desserts – including 16 flavors of delicious, hand-dipped Hershey’s Ice Cream and a tasty selection of home-baked pies and cakes.
If you live or work in Huber Heights, Riverside, Fairborn, Tipp City, Englewood, Trotwood, Vandalia, New Carlisle, Kettering, Springfield or Dayton you are just minutes away from our restaurant. We’re located in Huber Heights at 7111 Taylorsville Road – just about a block from Brandt Pike (State Route 201) and just south of the Interstate 70 / Brandt Pike interchange. (We have a map here.)
We pride ourselves in freshly made, tasty meals with that homemade touch. If you’re hungry for something fresh, take a break from the chain restaurants and stop by Old Glory Cafe.
We are a family owned and operated independent restaurant and take a great deal of pride serving our guests to their complete satisfaction.
Our Pick Two Option
Pick Two is a very popular option with our guests. You can combine any two: half of a sandwich, half of a salad or a cup of soup. Here’s a look at a Pick Two with a half of our Patriot Salad and half of a shaved Turkey Sandwich on whole grain bread. And, yes, those are real plates. Learn more about our popular Pick Two options.

About Our Independent Restaurant . . .
Or maybe we should make that plural and say “restaurants.” You see, Old Glory Cafe offers two distinct and unique dining rooms for you to choose from.
One dining room is designed to give you the experience of a traditional 1950s diner, complete with booths, a jukebox and an ice cream freezer where you can choose your flavors and watch your Hershey’s Ice Cream being dipped by hand.
Our second dining room offers a trip back to Americana, including antiques, patriotic decor and a selection of gift items. This dining room also features beautiful hand-crafted furniture built by one of Old Glory’s owners, Ron Campbell.

Our two dining rooms: The Americana dining room is in the top row, the Fifties dining room is in the bottom row.
About Us . . .
Old Glory Cafe and Sweet Shoppe is a family owned-and operated restaurant. Old Glory Cafe is run by Janet and Ron Campbell.
You’ll find Janet out in the dining room welcoming and serving guests.
Ron spends most of his time in the kitchen preparing your meal to our Old Glory standards of deliciousness.
If you’re dining in our Americana dining room, most of the furniture you see was hand crafted by Ron – and much of it is for sale.
